At Urology Associates, our patients are always our top priority. We’re sharing an important update about our relationship with Optum insurance plans to keep you informed and supported in your care decisions.
Starting November 27, 2025, Urology Associates will no longer be in-network with Optum, including Optum Medicare Advantage.
This decision was not made lightly. For several months, we worked hard and in good faith to reach a fair agreement with Optum. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach a resolution that supports the high level of care and service we provide.
Because of this, we made the difficult but necessary choice to step out of the Optum network.
What This Means for You
You Are Still Our Patient
We want to assure you that we are not dismissing you as a patient.
You are always welcome at Urology Associates, and we will continue to provide the same trusted, high-quality urologic care.
Out-of-Network Status
As of November 27, we will be considered out-of-network providers for all Optum and Optum Medicare Advantage plans.
If you have one of these plans, please contact Optum directly to understand your out-of-network benefits and any possible financial responsibility.
You Have Options
- If you choose to continue your care with us, we will do everything we can to support your needs.
- If you decide to transition to an in-network provider, we will help with that process and ensure your medical records are transferred quickly and smoothly.
