He believes in a patient-centered approach to medical decision making. He spends time with each patient to give them all the information on their condition and the treatment options available to them.

He likes to make the information easy to digest and understand, and will make recommendations for treatment, however, the individual care plan is ultimately designed around each patient’s unique lifestyle and their goals.

Dr. Shah cares for all general urological needs and specializes in robotic minimally invasive surgery for the prostate, ureters, and kidneys, reconstructive surgeries including urethral stricture disease, endoscopic management of enlarged prostate including Aquablation, Urolift, and Rezum, vasectomies, and endoscopic management of kidney stones. He is also a specialist in the newest procedures to treat both male and female incontinence. During his residency, he was focused on research around survivorship following prostate cancer and is experienced in assessing and treating the issues that sometimes arise following treatment for prostate cancer such as erectile dysfunction or incontinence.

When Dr. Shah is not at work, he enjoys spending his time with his fiancé and their two dogs. He likes to play golf and pick-up basketball. He also likes music and enjoys attending concerts and playing his guitar. He is excited to be in Colorado where he can more easily enjoy the great outdoors and spend time skiing, hiking, and backpacking around the 14ers.
